Basics about gambling regulators and rules in South Africa

National Gambling Commission – the state’s governing body for gambling in South Africa. The tasks of the regulatory authority are to identify the rules under which gambling business activities, conduct investigations, collect statistics, and is responsible for the proper handling of gambling including offline and online types.

The South African Standards Office Platform is responsible for standardizing, testing, analyzing, calibrating and certifying gaming machines, electronic monitoring systems, and other casino equipment.
